About Jim The Boat Guy

Mobile Services & Pre-Boat Inspections

Jim and Pam epitomize the perfect fusion of passion and expertise within the world of boating. Spanning decades, Jim has committed himself to mastering the intricacies of boat maintenance and repair, consistently providing top-tier service for vessels of all sizes and ages. Beyond their roles as consummate professionals, they are fervent boat enthusiasts, proudly owning multiple watercraft that vividly reflect their deep connection to the open waters.

What truly sets Jim apart are the values echoed by satisfied clients: unwavering integrity, trustworthiness, comprehensive knowledge of boats, and a warm, approachable demeanor that effortlessly transforms each interaction into a pleasant experience. Jim’s dedication goes above and beyond, as he embodies the essence of genuine assistance – from aiding stranded boaters on the highways to helping those in dire straits. There’s a memorable instance when, on a frigid winter night, he selflessly changed a flat tire for a stranded traveler towing a boat, politely refusing payment but graciously accepting a heartfelt token of appreciation.

Pam’s journey, on the other hand, commenced at the tender age of 7, equipped with a needle and thread. She diligently honed her sewing skills through involvement in 4-H, school, and a myriad of personal projects. With over three decades of office expertise under her belt, they have further expanded their repertoire of services to encompass a dedicated canvas division specializing in boat upholstery.

For Jim and Pam, craftsmanship isn’t merely a profession; it’s a shared passion that drives them to consistently deliver nothing less than excellence.

Their team is a shining example of excellence, comprised of only the finest professionals in the field. While Brett may not always be physically present on-site, he remains a constant and trusted presence in the workshop, with unparalleled trustworthiness and mechanical expertise. During the shrink-wrap and winterization season, Brett leads his own team with distinction, alongside long-time team members Norm and Jeremy, who are truly unmatched in their expertise and dedication. They all take great pride in being valued members of “Jim The Boat Guy.”
